When to consider it

Consider SH02 when two reels normally need the same process and you do not need the larger SH03’s independent chambers. A documented 40°C minimum gives it a different setting range from the 45°C minimum on Space Pi Plus. Use that difference only when it matters to the instructions for the exact filament you buy.

Check before ordering

The official page describes 150W PTC heating, temperature presets and adjustable 40–70°C operation. Rated heater power is not average electricity consumption. Its stated heat-up time is also not a complete drying time: reaching the air-temperature setting does not show that moisture has left the filament. Check reel dimensions and regional voltage before purchase.

The SH02 and SH03 have different capacity and control arrangements.

Alternatives worth comparing

Space Pi Plus is another two-spool option. Polyphemus adds a rotating-reel mechanism and offers an 80°C variant. SH03 is the relevant Sovol comparison when four positions and two independent chambers are necessary.
